Blanks for
gears are made in the material chosen by the Customer.
The heat
treatment is chosen according to the required delivery status to enable
the correct machinability performance.
Forging
with the 6000-ton press gives the gear blanks excellent grain flow
and a high degree of finishing. The power of the 6000-ton press allows
approximation to the final dimensions and reduction of the machining
costs.
The
diameter varies from 350 to 1500 mm with a weight which can exceed
3 tons.
The
blanks are supplied unwrought or rough-machined on a lathe.
